I was such a caring (yet thoroughly distructive) child. I'm happy the turtle was found by someone sensible, who knew better than to leave him in the parking lot formerly known as a gas station. In other news, you can get selmonilla (sp? the poision bacteria that grows on raw chicken) from turtles, but not wild ones. The bacteria builds up when they live in cages surrounded by their own feces.
